Yesterday, on April 6, the rescuers of Yerevan fire-rescue squad No. 1 of the rescue service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs and the rescuer-psychologist of the rescue service, the community policemen of the Shengavit and Malatia departments of the Main Department of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs Police, as well as the doctor and nurse of the duty group of 103 emergency doctors of Yerevan managed to save the life of a young boy in Yerevan.
As a photojournalist reports from the sceneGagik Shamshyan, the rescuers and the police received information that the young man had crossed the dangerous edge of the bridge on the road leading from Babajanyan Street to the newly constructed Shirak Street in the South-West District and was threatening to throw himself down.
The rescuers, the psychologist of the rescue service, the community police of Shengavit and Malatya and the emergency doctor and nurse managed to negotiate with the boy for about 30 minutes, after which they were able to move him to a safe place on the opposite side of the iron railing of the bridge.
At this moment, the rescuer-psychologist provides him with the necessary psychological support, and the community police find out his identity. The photojournalist reports that a car was also found at the scene, in which he arrived at the bridge, parked the car and crossed the dangerous edge of the bridge.
