On the afternoon of March 14, a resident of the village of Hovuni filed a report at the Akhuryan Department of the Community Police. He said that the previous day, at around 8:30, he boarded a Mercedes taxi in Gyumri, reached their village, got off, and about 40 minutes later noticed that he had left a bag in the car containing 340,000 rubles, 1,600 dollars, about 60,000 AMD, cards, passport and driver's license.
The injured man asked the driver to return his bag, but he said that there was nothing in the car.
A criminal proceeding was initiated, and as a result of the activities of the Akhuryan community police, it was found that the bag was taken by another 50-year-old woman who ordered the same taxi. He was invited to the community police station, where after an explanation, he admitted that he took the bag. The woman presented the bag with all its contents.
The circumstances are clarified by the preliminary investigation.
