Gayane Minasyan, the mother of Davit and Mikayel Minasyan, the boys involved in the church incident with Pashinyan, wrote an open letter to the court, which is currently examining the issue of Davit's restraining order.
In particular, the mother's letter states:
"Dear court, since Gayane Minasyans is Davit Minasyan's mother, I ask you to give my son the opportunity to wait for the court hearings in freedom.
Due to health problems, since he was four years old, David needs round-the-clock special care.
Being a doctor by profession, I take care of his health every day, so as a parent, as a mother, I ask you to understand my request, because the health condition of my 18-year-old son is really incompatible with detention and can have fatal consequences.
I assure you that I and my family are ready to support the impartial investigation of the court, so I again ask you to meet me and allow me to take care of my son at home until the main trial.
