Information on the consequences of heavy rainfall in the Republic as of 17:00
As of March 28, at 5:00 p.m., the 112 operational control center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received alerts regarding the increase in the water level in the rivers in Syunik and Tavush marzes.
The units of the Rescue Service, as well as the communal service employees of the municipal governments, carried out work in the places indicated by the alarms. there were no damages or injuries.
In other marzes, no alerts were received regarding the rise in the level of rivers.
In Syunik marz, alarms were received about rockfalls on highways, as a result of which the roads became one-way traffic, traffic was also restricted. The rescuers promptly responded to all the alarms, as a result of which the traffic was restored.
The rescuers also cooperated with the Police Patrol Service and "CHANSHIN" employees, carrying out stone removal works.
