At least 9 people were injured as a result of the earthquake that occurred near the city of Germsar in the north of Iran, İRNA agency reports. It is noted that all the victims received minor injuries.

As a result of the earthquake in the city, electricity and the Internet were cut off in a number of residential buildings.

According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center, a 4.6-magnitude earthquake occurred 5 km northeast of the city of Germsar, where about 49,400 people live.
