On February 11, at around 12 o'clock, the operational control center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Lori region received a report that the emergency team took a 13-year-old boy from the village of Jrashen to the medical center of Spitak with physical injuries. The mother reported that her son was beaten by a classmate at Jrashen secondary school.
The officers of the Spitak community police department found out that during an argument in the classroom, the three classmates beat the boy who was taken to the hospital, while the school's pedagogical staff hid the truth.
On behalf of the Minister of Internal Affairs, a petition regarding the incident will be submitted to the Minister of CGMS.
The minors who beat the classmate were presented to the pre-trial body with the prepared documents.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated on the charges of causing moderate harm to health and not fulfilling or improperly fulfilling the duty of raising or caring for a child.
An investigation is underway.
