Today, February 6, a car accident took place in Aragatsotn region. At around 11:10 a.m., Toyota Rav 4 driven by 25-year-old Armen P., a resident of Yerevan, and Opel Zafira, driven by 24-year-old Artyom B., a resident of Lori marz, collided on the 26 km section of the Yerevan-Vanadzor highway.
As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports, as a result of the accident, 3 people went to the "Ashtarak" medical center for examination.
The patrols of the 1st platoon of the 2nd platoon of the Aragatsotn Marz battalion of the Police Patrol Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RA arrived at the scene, led by the battalion commander Artyom Sahakyan, the senior inspector of the battalion service Armen Stepanyan and the deputy commander of the platoon Arman Sargsyan, responsible for the day.
The territory was demarcated by senior patrolman Garik Hovhannisyan and junior patrolman Karen Melikyan of the same company.
The information about the accident was transferred from the Aragatsotn marz battalion of the PS to the Aragatsotn marz investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee, from where the investigative team arrived, led by the duty investigator responsible for the day.
Due to the fact of the accident, criminal proceedings were initiated in the investigation department, where the identities of the car owners and drivers are revealed.
