Press secretary of Metropolitan Anna Aslanyan wrote about this on her Facebook page.
"Especially in the morning and in the evening, subway congestion can sometimes cause inconvenience, because passenger traffic has increased quite a bit, but I must note that such congestion is a typical phenomenon, especially for metro systems in big cities. Subway congestion can also be encountered in the most developed infrastructures in the world. in countries with, for example, Japan, where so-called "losers" are on duty at subway stations;
they are the stable men who push passengers who cannot fit into the train at rush hour.
Of course, I understand if you say don't compare with Japan, but let's not forget that even a country with a developed system has such a problem.
We ask for the forgiveness of our citizens and guests of the capital for the inconveniences caused and thank you for your patience, understanding and willingness to improve this situation together with us," he wrote.
