On January 20, at 4:23 p.m., the crisis management center of the Tavush regional rescue department received an alert that an accident had occurred at the beginning of the Ditavan village: cars had collided, and there were casualties.

One combat unit from the fire-rescue squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs went to the scene.

It was found that "Lada" and "Nissan" cars collided on the 12th km of the Ijevan-Berd highway. The driver of the "Lada" car was taken to the medical center by local forces.

The rescuers cordoned off the area, cut off the power to the cars, closed the valves of the gas cylinders and brought the passenger of the Nissan car to the ambulance. the victim was hospitalized in a medical center.
