Great Britain will provide emergency energy funding to Ukraine

Great Britain has announced that it will provide emergency energy aid of 20 million pounds ($26.7 million) to Ukraine. Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky announced that Ukraine will declare a state of emergency in the energy sector due to serious power outages.

"The announced aid will help meet the urgent needs of millions of families, children and the elderly to provide heating and electricity. This funding will provide vital emergency support to restore, protect and generate power across the country," the UK government said in a statement.

Earlier, the former Minister of Energy of Ukraine Yuriy Prodan announced that the coming winter will be much more difficult for the citizens of Ukraine than the previous one.

Therefore, he urged them to move to their country houses, where they can warm themselves with wood.
