"On December 30, the obviously illegal prison detention applied from June 18, 2025, was replaced by house arrest and additional restrictions. As we reported, on the first working day, the Prosecutor's Office filed an appeal on January 5 with an obviously illegal demand for the detention of Samvel Karapetyan.
On January 12, the Court of Appeal accepted the proceedings, and January 16 was set as the date of publication of the decision of the prosecutor and our complaints. At the same time, the investigative body submitted a petition for the extension of house arrest (by law, they cannot submit any other petition), with which the hearing was scheduled again today at the Anti-Corruption Court at 4:00 PM.
