AB-imam will be launched in Kazakhstan

In Kazakhstan, the Muslim spiritual department has promised to introduce a mobile application "Imam Artificial Intelligence" powered by artificial intelligence technology. According to the Supreme Mufti of Kazakhstan, Naurizbai Kazhi Taganuli, the program is planned to be launched in 2026.

The mobile app is supposed to provide immediate answers to religious questions based on reliable sources.

"In accordance with modern requirements, we must systematically introduce the capabilities of artificial intelligence in the religious field," the statement said.

According to the Supreme Mufti of Kazakhstan, this will not only help to "provide quick and reliable answers to people's questions of a religious nature", but will also reduce the workload of the clergy.
