Putin stated that the situation in the international arena is getting worse

The situation in the international arena is currently worsening.

This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin during the ceremony of handing over the credentials of the new ambassadors.

According to him, conflicts are intensifying, new sources of tension are emerging, and the situation in the international arena is getting worse.

Putin emphasized that Russia will always follow a balanced path and remains loyal to the multipolar world.

He noted that the Ukrainian crisis is a direct consequence of years of ignoring Russia's interests and NATO's advance towards its borders. Putin assured that "Russia will consistently pursue its goals in Ukraine".

"We believe that it is worthwhile to return to a meaningful dialogue, to strengthen the conditions for a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine, and the sooner this happens, the better," the Russian leader said.

Putin also emphasized Russia's readiness to restore relations with European countries to a proper level.
