On January 15, political consultations between the foreign political departments of Armenia and Germany took place in Berlin, led by Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan and Commissioner for Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia of the German Foreign Ministry Niklas Wagner. The sides discussed a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda, stressing with satisfaction the high level of relations and active political dialogue between the two countries.
Thoughts were exchanged by the Prime Minister of Armenia and the Federal Chancellor of Germany in 2025. on joint steps aimed at expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in the areas indicated in the declaration "On the Strategic Agenda of Bilateral Partnership" signed on December 9.
The interlocutors also touched on issues related to the RA-EU strategic partnership agenda, noted the active cooperation formed on international platforms. The regional opportunities expected as a result of the implementation of the programs aimed at the development of economic interdependence under the conditions of peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan as a result of the Washington agreements of August 8, including the implementation of the "TRIPP route" project.
