The process of appointing a new special representative in the South Caucasus is coming to an end. NATO

The process of appointing a new NATO special representative in the South Caucasus and Central Asia is coming to an end.

NATO's press service responded to APA's inquiry with the following statement. "The South Caucasus and the Black Sea region are important for the joint security of the allied countries. This is reflected in our long-standing partnerships with a number of states in the region, including Azerbaijan. The process of appointing a special representative of the military alliance in the South Caucasus and Central Asia is coming to an end. We will soon provide more detailed information on this issue," the statement said.

Belgian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Julien de Frepon stated in an interview to APA that NATO plans to appoint a new special representative in the South Caucasus in the near future.
