Rada extended martial law and mobilization in Ukraine for another 90 days

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine voted to extend the martial law and military mobilization in Ukraine for another 90 days, Ukrainian parliament member Yaroslav Zheleznyak announced on Wednesday.

On January 12, Vladimir Zelensky submitted to the Rada a proposal to extend the general mobilization and martial law in Ukraine for another 90 days.

"Parliament supported the decrees on the extension of martial law and conscription, which were again submitted to the Rada for approval."

Martial law was declared in Ukraine on February 24, 2022. The next day, Zelensky signed a decree on general mobilization.
