TRT. Turkey is conducting negotiations with Syria and the USA regarding the situation in Aleppo

Turkey is in constant contact with Syria and the United States regarding the operation by Damascus against the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) coalition in Aleppo and is negotiating a settlement, TRT reported, citing security sources.

"In accordance with the instructions of President Tayyip Erdogan, the National Intelligence Organization is constantly negotiating with the Syrian government and the United States to resolve the situation peacefully.

In addition, the necessary messages are transmitted to the SPS through appropriate channels. The President receives up-to-date information on events in real time.

"In full coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense, comprehensive monitoring of developments is being carried out in the context of Turkey's security priorities. National intelligence officers are on duty around the clock, closely following the developments," the sources said.

They also noted that after the start of the operation in Aleppo, "a significant part of Ashrafieh and Beni Zeid districts came under the control of the central government."
