On December 30, in the Yerevan City Department of the Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, information was received from the 3rd investigative department of the Kentron and Nork Marash administrative districts of the Yerevan City Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee, that according to the operational information received on December 25, 600-900 kg. (999:9) gold was illegally exported to the Republic of Turkey over the Araks River with the help of Russian border guards.

According to the fact of the case, criminal proceedings were initiated in the Investigative Department of the Yerevan City Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee of Kentron and Nork Marash administrative districts.
