On January 2, at 3:57 p.m., the crisis management center of the Vayots Dzor Regional Rescue Department received information that an accident occurred near the intersection of the highway leading to the Noravank monastery complex. the help of rescuers is necessary. One combat unit from the fire-rescue squad of the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine went to the scene. It turned out that the "Mitsubishi" car left the traffic lane and ended up on the roadside slope at the 112th km of the Yerevan-Meghri highway.
Before the arrival of rescuers, three victims were taken out of the car by the local forces and taken to the medical center. The rescuers cut off the power to the car, closed the valve of the gas cylinder and demarcated the area.
