On December 31, an emergency occurred in Lori region. Around 04:50, the Spitak department of the Community Police Department of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs received operative information that 6 family members were taken to the "Spitak" medical center with the diagnosis of "poisoning from small gas" as a result of gas poisoning from one of the villages.

The operative group of the Spitak police department, led by a senior community policeman, went to the hospital, where it was found that the operative information was reliable, and the residents of Lori region, 64-year-old Amalya V., 65-year-old Mihran M., 18-year-old Amalya M., 1-year-old L. M., 39-year-old Rita P., 16-year-old M. M., 39-year-old Ludvik M., whose health conditions were assessed as satisfactory. The officers of the Spitak police department found out that Amalya V. used the gas stove in the kitchen of their house all day until late in the evening, after which around 03:00 her and the members of the household's health worsened and they were taken to the "Spitak" medical center.

On the fact of the incident, documents were drawn up in the Spitak department of the police, which were transferred to the Spitak investigative department of the Lori regional investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee.
