The "Supreme Council" parliamentary club sent a letter to the President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, expressing concern about the incident in the National Assembly, regarding the deputy of the Council, Ruben Hakobyan.
In particular, the letter states:
"Dear President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, the chairmanship of the "Supreme Council" parliamentary club, as the governing body of the organization supporting the traditions of parliamentarianism, expresses its concern on October 17 of this year, during the hearings on the theme "On the irrelevance of the Declaration of Independence of Armenia" in the National Assembly. , in connection with the incident related to the removal of Supreme Council deputy Rubik Hakobyan from the NA territory. Unfortunately, due to the periodic nature of such incidents, the impression is created that the current legislative acts, sub-legislative normative legal acts do not provide an effective toolkit that will reduce such incidents to a minimum.
Dear President of the National Assembly, the reputation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia is very important for all of us and we are sure that you are also concerned about such incidents. We are looking forward to your recommendation to the appropriate department of the National Assembly, the legal bases of the actions of the National Assembly security officers, for the settlement of such problems. to provide the assessment of the effect of the regulation of the adopted normative legal act to the chairmanship of the "Supreme Council" parliamentary club.
