On December 24 and 25, representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross visited all confirmed Armenians detained in Azerbaijan. Zara Amatuni, head of communication programs of the ICRC delegation in Armenia, informed Sputnik about this.
"During the meeting of the organization, as before, this time the focus was on the health of the persons, their attitude towards them and the assessment of the conditions of detention," Amatuni noted. No parcels were handed over by the families, representatives of the ICRC had private conversations with each person within the framework of the meeting. The visit was organized by ICRC headquarters in Geneva.
Yesterday it became known that representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) paid a humanitarian visit to Vigen Euljekchyan, a Lebanese-Armenian detained in Baku.
Baku officially confirms the capture of 23 Armenians, 17 of whom ended up there after Azerbaijan's September aggression against Artsakh. Among them are the representatives of Artsakh's military-political leadership: former Minister of State of Artsakh, philanthropist Ruben Vardanyan, former Commander of Defense Forces Levon Mnatsakanyan, former Deputy Commander of Defense Forces Davit Manukyan, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh Davit Babayan, Speaker of Nagorno-Karabakh National Assembly Davit Ishkhanyan, former Presidents of Artsakh Arkadi Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan and Araik Harutyunyan.
