Billions of drams to departments and judicial bodies


During the discussion of the 2025 budget project in the National Assembly, RA Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan presented the budget allocated to the departments and judicial bodies. And so, the funds provided by the 2025 budget of the Prime Minister's Office amount to 24 billion 365 million drams, which is 2.5% less than the budget allocated for 2024.

The Constitutional Court will be allocated 870 million drams in the 2025 budget, which will 26 million more than the 2024 budget or 3.1%.

Current expenses will be 33 million more than the 2024 budget, and capital expenses will be 1.5 million drams. 17 billion 329 million drams are planned for the BDC and courts, which will be less than the 2024 budget by 1.8 billion drams or 9 by 6%. Current expenses will be less by 6.7%, and capital expenses will be less by 58% and will amount to 458 million drams. 23.8 billion drams are allocated to the Ministry of Justice, 624 million more than in 2024. Current expenses will increase by 43 million drams, and capital expenses will increase by 1 billion 42 million drams, which is a significant increase of 125% from the 2024 budget.

9 billion 926 million drams will be allocated to the prosecution, which is 127 million drams less than the 2024 budget. Current expenses are 1.8 percent less, capital expenses are planned, which will amount to 49 million AMD. 934 million AMD will be allocated to the State Control Service, which is 22 million AMD or 2.3% less than the 2024 budget.

Current expenses will decrease by 36 million, instead, capital expenses will increase 3 times and will amount to 19 million drams. 18 billion 986 million drams have been allocated to the Investigative Committee for 2025, which is 8.7% or 1.5 billion more than the 2024 budget. In addition, current expenses will increase by 4.6% or 796 million drams, capital expenses will increase by 732 million drams and will amount to 990 million drams. Anti-corruption committee will receive 3 billion 463 million drams, which is 6.3% or 231 million drams. will be less than the 2024 budget. Current expenses will amount to 3 billion 428 million drams, which will be less than 2024 by 148 million drams.

The 2025 budget of the Corruption Prevention Commission provides 405 million drams, which is less than the 2024 budget, there are no capital expenditures here, only current expenditures. The budget of the Central Electoral Commission will be 492 million drams, which is 50% smaller than The budget of 2024.
