Today, December 22, a mysterious and tragic event took place in Shirak region. At around 01:40, the National Center for 9-11 Crisis Management of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received an alert that there was a citizen under a train in the Yerevan Junction of Gyumri, writes Shamshyan.com.
The duty group of emergency doctors of "Gyumri" medical center also arrived promptly and recorded the death of the citizen on the spot.
The police and patrols found out on the spot that the deceased is 71-year-old Gulnara A., a resident of Shirak marz. The information about the incident was transferred from the Kumayri department of the police to the Shirak marz investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee, from where the investigative team arrived, headed by the investigator on duty for the day.
According to the facts of the case, criminal proceedings have been initiated in the investigative department, where it will be determined whether the incident was a suicide or an accident.
