Ukraine and Portugal have agreed on the production of maritime drones

Ukraine and Portugal have become partners in the production of maritime drones. The relevant agreement was signed in Kyiv by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Portuguese Prime Minister Luis Montenegro during their first official visit to Ukraine. The Russian service of DW informs about this.

"This is one of the most promising directions of defense work. And in all parts of Europe, there should be enough power to counter any threat, and modern drones are a real tool of defense," Zelensky wrote on the X social network.

The President of Ukraine expressed his gratitude for Portugal's investment, as well as for supporting Lisbon's decision to provide Ukraine with an interest-free loan of 90 billion euros.

The Prime Minister of Portugal arrived in the capital of Ukraine on the morning of December 20 by night train.
