More than half of Turkey's population uses artificial intelligence


Awareness and use of artificial intelligence (AI) in Turkey continues to grow. ermenihaber.am informs about this.

According to the "Public Perception of Artificial Intelligence" survey conducted by the Artificial Intelligence Policy Association (AIPA), AI users in Turkey now make up 57.6 percent of the population, which is significantly higher than the global average.

According to the report, 80.5 percent of the Turkish population, that is, 4 out of every 5 citizens, are informed about artificial intelligence.

Those who are informed about generative artificial intelligence tools make up 59.7 percent, and those who know about the so-called "agentic AI" tools - 30.7 percent.

During the survey conducted as part of the research, 50.1 percent of the people who heard about at least one of AI, productive or "agentic AI" tools stated that they have "basic level" knowledge about these technologies. 11.1 percent of them said that they know the topic well, and 38.8 percent said that they are "partially/more or less" informed.

The most popular artificial intelligence tool in Turkey, which is "ChatGPT" with an index of 88 percent, has also become known. It is followed by "Gemini" - 35.4 percent, "DeepSeek" - 15.6 percent and "Grok" - 13.1 percent.
