The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) insists on the need to access Iran's nuclear facilities to verify Tehran's claims that they are unsafe and inaccessible, the agency's director general, Rafael Grossi, said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
"First of all, Iran has much more than these three objects. These three facilities are very important in terms of uranium processing, conversion and enrichment.
However, Iran's nuclear program is not limited to these facilities.
Iran has a highly advanced nuclear program with a strong research and development component, as well as many other facilities in the country," he said, commenting on how the agency plans to justify its continued presence in Iran and the need for inspections, given the U.S. announcement that all Iranian nuclear facilities have been destroyed.
