Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to meet French President Emmanuel Macron under certain conditions. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced this at a press conference in Cairo, RIA Novosti reports.

"Our president has repeatedly emphasized that he is always open to communication, but with the understanding that they will be polite people with a certain basic decency," the diplomat said, responding to Macron's statements about the need for dialogue with Russia.
