The Armenian and Georgian parties had a discussion on the transit of Azerbaijani fuel through the territory of Georgia to Armenia. In response to "Armenpress" inquiry, the RA Ministry of Economy reported this, referring to the statement of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
"There was such a discussion with the Georgian side, and we received the published information," the ministry said. Earlier, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia announced that on December 5, the Georgian government received a request from partner countries for a one-time transit of fuel from Azerbaijan to Armenia through the territory of Georgia.
Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze instructed "Georgian Railways" to carry out this transit free of charge.
