Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received World and European weightlifting champion Nazik Avdalyan. The Prime Minister highly appreciated Nazik Avdalyan's personal contribution in representing Armenia in the best way in the international arena and contributing to the development of sports in our country.
Nikol Pashinyan emphasized that the development of sports is one of the Government's priorities and emphasized the importance of cooperation with Nazik Avdalyan in this direction.
The World and European weightlifting champion presented to the Prime Minister the programs of the "Nazik Avdalyan" sports development fund founded by him, noting that their goal is to establish sports schools in regions and thus contribute to the development of professional sports.
The Prime Minister offered to discuss the possibility of combining the above-mentioned program with the Government's plan to establish sports centers in larger communities. In this context, an agreement was reached to continue discussions with the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.
