The attackers stole from the Israeli military a truck with missile launchers that they had previously captured from the Shiite Hezbollah movement. This was reported by The Jerusalem Post newspaper.
According to her, the captured truck was captured in Lebanon and delivered to one of the specialized parking lots for equipment in northern Israel. However, the Israel Defense Forces later informed law enforcement that the vehicle had been stolen. The police began an investigation and, together with border troops, carried out an operation to search for the truck, which was eventually discovered. There were two people inside who were detained and taken in for questioning.
