On October 27, RA Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan met with the delegation led by Thierry Kovacs, Vice President of the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region of France, which included mayors and deputy mayors of 6 cities of the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region. At the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged ideas on Armenia-France decentralized about the prospects of further deepening of cooperation. This is reported by the RA MFA.
The successful holding of the upcoming Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes-Armenia-Syunik event in Lyon was highlighted, as well as the organization of the 5th session of decentralized cooperation between Armenia and France to be held in Goris next year. Deputy Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan highlighted the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region of France. and steps aimed at expanding cooperation between the Syunik region of Armenia. The deputy minister presented the main priorities of the RA foreign policy, including the Armenia-EU partnership. A number of regional issues were also addressed.
