The Russian side is not at all inferior to the West in the export of defense products, and these products have performed well in the world market. This was announced by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

"We are not giving up at all in this "race", the minister emphasized.

He said that he feels proud when he sees Russian products participating in the reports filmed in various halls of aviation equipment or other military products.

"I have no doubt that it is a part of Russia's reputation in the international arena, a part of the material basis of Russian foreign policy," the diplomat said in an interview with the "Military Reception" program.

Lavrov believes that the principles of free market, fair competition and presumption of innocence, which were promoted by the Western powers, "disappeared" as soon as they realized that they were losing the competition with Russia.

According to him, export restrictions against Russia are an example of the West's impure and non-competitive struggle, which thus signs under its own inability to negotiate. However, Moscow knows how to resist such a policy. The vast majority of non-Western countries do not want to put up with it and "dance to that duduk" for the rest of their lives.
