Putin sent a telegram to Xi Jinping, expressing his deep condolences regarding the tragic consequences of the fire in Hong Kong.
"Dear Mr. President, please accept my deepest condolences regarding the tragic consequences of the fire in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Please convey my condolences and support to the families and friends of the victims, as well as wishes for a speedy recovery to all the injured," the cable published on the Kremlin's website said.
Let's remind that on Wednesday in Hong Kong, a fire broke out in the high-rise buildings of the Wan Fook Court residential complex. According to the South China Morning Post, the fire started and spread from the bamboo structures installed around the buildings as part of the Wang Phuc Court renovation project. The fire started in the first building of the complex and then spread to three others.
