The Tumanyan community police department received information that a 59-year-old man from the city of Alaverdi keeps and uses marijuana.
On November 21, the man was arrested in his garden on the Alaverdi-Vanadzor highway and taken to the department. His search revealed a yellow-green dropper and about five grams of cannabis-like substance wrapped in paper.
The compiled documents were submitted to Tumanyan's investigative department.
During the search conducted on November 24, a total of about 60 grams of marijuana-like mass was found in the man's garden shed and auxiliary buildings.
The investigation is ongoing.
