Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has called to prevent conflict in the Caribbean and Venezuela, as it would be a repeat of the mistake that later led to the conflict in Ukraine.
"We must not repeat the same mistake that led to the war between Russia and Ukraine," he said at a press conference after the G20 summit in South Africa.
The Brazilian leader previously expressed concern about the increase in US military presence in the Caribbean. Regarding the causes of the conflict in Ukraine, Lula da Silva has repeatedly condemned the West's desire to continue supplying Ukraine with weapons in order to prolong the conflict with Russia.
