On November 21, the Gegharkunik regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received information that a fire broke out in the Chambarak-Ttujur section. a grassy area is burning on the hillside.
An appropriate response was organized. The rescue teams from Yerevan, Gegharkunik, Lori, Kotayk, Tavush regional rescue departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, firefighting and rescue organization departments of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Operations Center, special purpose rescue operations center were involved in the fire fighting.
Firefighting operations were carried out throughout the night.
The fire broke out in 3 hearths, 2 of which were extinguished as a result of the operative actions of fire-rescuers. the spread of the fire to forested areas and residential areas was prevented.
In the third precinct, firefighting operations are intensively continuing.
At the moment, 253 rescue workers are performing firefighting work: 34 auxiliary and 4 main equipment. also applies to drones.
A firefighting headquarters was formed on the spot in order to manage the firefighting operations. Employees of the Police, Patrol Service, Eco-Patrol Service and residents of neighboring villages are also involved in the fire fighting.
