Ukrainian MPs have registered a draft resolution on a call by the Verkhovna Rada to foreign governments and competent authorities to search for, arrest and extradite corrupt officials who have fled Ukraine. The relevant document was posted on the website of the Rada.
The initiative was presented by 41 deputies.
"Draft resolution on the application of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the governments and competent authorities of foreign countries with a call to facilitate the identification of the location, arrest and extradition of suspected persons accused or convicted of corruption and related crimes on the territory of Ukraine," the proposal of the bill reads.
