Iran's authorities believe that negotiations with the United States over the Islamic Republic's nuclear program are futile, Esmail Baghai, spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, told reporters.
"Negotiations with a partner that does not recognize the bilateral nature of negotiations, that is proud of its military invasion of Iran and the killing of Iranian children, and clearly seeks to impose its demands, have no logical justification," he noted.
As Baghai emphasized, "currently there are no negotiations between Iran and the United States".
