The two airports of Rzeszów and Lublin in the south-east of Poland were temporarily closed due to the flight of fighter jets, the Polish Air Transport Agency reports.
"Airports in Rzeszów and Lublin are temporarily closed due to the need to ensure the freedom of operation of military aircraft," the department said in a statement on social networks.
Earlier, the operational command of the Polish Armed Forces reported that Polish and NATO fighter jets operated in the country's airspace, at Warsaw's insistence, due to the threat of drone attacks in Ukraine.
