The airspace above Aalborg Airport in Denmark was briefly closed on Sunday evening due to a suspected drone. On Monday morning, North Jutland police could not confirm their presence near the airport, Ritzau news agency reported.
A day ago, the police announced on social networks that "they are aware that one or more drones may be seen in the area of Aalborg Airport". Therefore, law enforcement agencies are "conducting an intensive investigation."
Northern Jutland police duty officer Morten Axelsen later announced that the operation at the scene had ended at 1:40 a.m. (3:40 a.m. Moscow time) on Monday. "It is still unclear whether drones were spotted in the airspace," he said.
