Russia has always been against the politicization of the G20 agenda, Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President, told journalists, answering the question of RIA Novosti.
"This is the format where economic issues, the world economy, are discussed. And we have always been against introducing any politicization into the agenda of this organization," said Peskov.
South Africa took over the G20 presidency from Brazil on December 1, 2024. The United States will hand over the presidency to Pretoria at the end of November this year. The G20 summit will take place on November 22-23
in Johannesburg.
The Russian delegation will be headed by Maxim Oreshkin, deputy chief of staff of the president.
