US President Donald Trump intends to participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF) to be held in Davos, Switzerland in 2026, Bloomberg reports, citing its sources.
According to them, this step indicates the improvement of the relations between the USA and Switzerland in the light of the negotiations on the trade agreement between the two countries. The American leader will participate in the economic forum with a large delegation.
In 2025, Trump participated in the World Economic Forum through a teleconference. The World Economic Forum (WEF) invited the heads of state and government of the G20 countries, including President Trump, to the 2026 annual meeting.
The exact list of approved participants will be published one week before the meeting," the agency quotes the message of the forum.
