Sarkozy's trial will begin on March 16, 2026

The appeal trial in the case of financing of the election campaign of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy by Libya will begin on March 16, 2026, according to the announcement of the Paris Court of Appeal.

"The so-called Libyan financing case will be examined by the Court of Appeal from March 16 to June 3, 2026," the text states.
