The government's resolution states that the country has witnessed "a heinous terrorist act carried out by anti-national forces in the Red Fort by means of a car explosion".
The body ordered the "most urgent and professional" investigation to ensure that "all perpetrators, accomplices and sponsors are immediately identified and brought to justice."
The resolution emphasizes that the situation is under the constant control of the government at the highest level.
