Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi received Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu in Cairo and conveyed greetings to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. Cairo highly values relations with Moscow, the Egyptian leader emphasized.
"Please convey my greetings to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. Egypt highly values its strong and developing relations with Russia," Al-Sisi's words were quoted by his office.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed the economic cooperation between the countries, including the construction of the El-Dabaa nuclear power plant and the construction of the Russian industrial zone on the banks of the Suez Canal.
