An armed man broke into the beIN SPORTS building in Istanbul, demanding a meeting with the TV channel's presenter, Mynet reported on Monday.
"A man with a gun broke into the building of the beIN SPORTS TV station located in the northern Ayazaga district of Istanbul, demanding a meeting with the presenter Gültekin Ona. The man allegedly accused Ona of injuring a woman working as a security guard in the building," the portal writes.
Arriving at the scene, the police are negotiating with the armed man.
The publication later reported that the police managed to convince the man Kemal S. to surrender within half an hour and he was arrested.
