The $15,000 sculpture went missing in Norway for five days

Employees of a gallery in the Norwegian city of Stavanger did not notice the disappearance of a sculpture worth almost $15,000 for five days, Norwegian police said.

"The Stavanger Gallery discovered yesterday that the sculpture was stolen from the exhibition. After a thorough examination of the cameras, the gallery determined that the theft took place on the afternoon of November 4. The value of the sculpture is estimated at 150,000 Norwegian kroner (US$14,800),” Norwegian police said in a press release.

It is noted that the police has initiated a criminal case on the incident.
