Pentagon Secretary Pete Hegsett announced on Thursday that US forces have destroyed another ship believed to be used to transport drugs in international Caribbean waters.
"As we have stated before, attacks on narco-trafficking vessels will continue until they stop poisoning Americans," the US defense secretary wrote in X. According to him, the ship was transporting drugs, transporting members of the organization, which the US authorities consider a terrorist organization. It was not named.
According to Hegsett, there were three "narco-terrorists" on board.
They were killed during an attack carried out by the US armed forces.
"If you continue illegal trafficking of deadly drugs, we will kill you," added the head of the Pentagon.
