"We still need to understand how beneficial it would be in the children's interests to reunite them with their mother. If it turns out that the mother found out about the behavior of the children's father and kept silent, this is a very serious reason for the children not to return to their mother."Aysor.am:- said the head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Mira Antonyan, referring to the brothers and sisters of Tigran, who were found murdered after a 7-day search, and who were placed in their center.
"If we are dealing with a mother who not only failed to protect her children from her husband, but also is incapable of protecting her children from other attacks, it also means that it is not right for the children to return. And if it turns out that this mother herself was a victim of violence, that is, her husband abused both her and the children, this is not a reason for the children to be deprived of their family."
According to Mrs. Antonyan, Tigran's death should be a signal for the society that we will not tolerate violence against the next "Tigran".
"In our country, there is an opportunity to help reduce the number of such cases and allow children to grow up in a normal environment. Every family in our society can contribute. If there are families that are ready to take care of a child, the state is ready to pay that family 135,000 AMD per month. At the moment, we have 140 such families that support 192 children. We need more, we need more families."
